For FRES boys and girls in 3rd - 5th grade. Brighton Kick Start Futsal Soccer is a FUN and POSITIVE soccer experience! This clinic is designed for players who wish to learn technical skills of the game of soccer. It is directed by Brighton's girls varsity soccer coach, Rita Bartucca Kladstup. She has been running camps in Brighton for 7 years and has coached for over 20 years. Rita played soccer at the college level. She also played professional soccer for the Rochester Ravens and the Colorado Cougars. She had the opportunity to play against the U.S. Women's National Team in July 1997. Currently a teacher at Brighton High School and coach of the girls varsity soccer team (which she led to 2 sectional titles and their first ever State Championship appearance!).
Please have your player bring sneakers or indoor soccer shoes, shin guards, a ball, and a water bottle. A small snack is provided.
Students must come to school with a FRES dismissal pass noting attendance in this class every week. Parent pick up is at 4:50 p.m. at the gym. If your child attends an After School Care Program at FRES, they will be dismissed to the After School Care Program; be sure to inform the After School Care Program staff that your child is attending this class.
