The Baseball and Softball Academy is running its 22nd year of summer skills and development camp. Each session offers a unique perspective of baseball and softball through developmentally appropriate, fun, and engaging activities. There is a sequential breakdown of hitting fundamentals each day focused on each age group's development. With a low staff to camper ratio, your child receives the attention and repetitions they deserve. Specific sports fitness is a focus during skills stations and warm-ups.
Camp meets from 9 am – 12 pm and is designed for boys and girls in kindergarten through 7th grade. Bring your positive attitude and desire to learn! Session 1 focuses on all aspects of the game, including hitting, throwing, fielding, catching, pitching, and game strategy. Session 2 is a continuation of these skills with a focus on hitting. Our coaches emphasize love for the game during camp through fun and engaging activities.
Players are asked to bring a glove, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. Players may choose to bring a bat, helmet, and other appropriate equipment for baseball and softball. Helmets and bats are provided for those in need.
