​Effective February 2023, new NYS laws were enacted that allow for Electronic Notarizations. You may not perform electronic notarizations unless you have registered the capability to do so with the State. This class will teach you what you need to know to become an Electronic Notary in the State of New York and the policies, procedures, and software requirements mandated by the State for electronic notarizations. Only electronic notary procedures are covered in this class. This class is for traditional notaries who want to learn about electronic notarization and students who have already taken the "Becoming a Notary Public-Traditional" class. When you register for a Zoom class, the instructor sends all students the login information to access the Zoom class at least one day before the class begins. If you do not receive the email, please check your “junk” email folder as the message may have been placed there inadvertently when it was delivered.
